I remember that already very early I was most anxious to paint, like many children. My problem was that I did not know how to paint and what to paint. I was walking around in the flat looking for a subject. Finally I tried to paint a radiator because it was easier than the red fisch in my father’s aquarium. Unluckily I had to give up quickly because it was much more difficult that I had thought !
