I was living with my  family in the suburb Kirchenfeld of Bern. Just aside an animals park along the river Aar, a vivarium and above all, the Museum of Natural Sciences.

In the showwindows of this Museum,  the animals are presented  in their natural habitat and it made me dream a lot.

On the other side,  every year we spent the summer holidays in the Valais area  in the Alps. Very well known for their rich variety in every type of insects. I was making a collection of them (what I regret bitterly now).

All this story to explain my interest for the painting of nature and animals.
